Below you will find important information about our program.All aquatics athletes are encourage to play water polo and swim to stay fit and competitive all year long. Spring Tryouts
April 15th at Northside ISD Nat.
Coaches will evaluate aerobic-free, IM, and kick. This tryout will place you on the Aquatics team which consists of Water Polo and Swimming. If you want to be place in 1st period swim you will have to do an additional tryout.
Water Polo Tryouts: August 1st
Regular Season August 1st - Oct. 7
- 1st Period - Girls
- 8th Period - Boys
Swimming & Diving Tryouts: TBD
Regular Season: After Water Polo to Jan. 27th
- 1st period - Fastest training group focused on Regionals and State
- 8th period - Developmental training group focused on District
Schedule will likely be changed to fit with both water polo and swim placement.
Athletes will need to complete a physical along with a medical history prior to tryouts.
- Athletes will be receiving information from MS in the Spring

Water Polo Tryout Guidelines - These are guidelines and may change for the 2026-2027 school year.
- 20 X 25 @ :25 Combination of Head down Free, head up Free, backstroke, breaststroke & kick
- Evaluation on dribbling, passing, shooting and drives
1st Period Swimming Tryout Guidelines - These are guidelines and may change for the 2026-2027 school.
- Basic swimming knowledge and skills in Fly, Back, Breast and Free.
- 10 X 50 Kick @ 0:55 Girls and Boys
- 10 X 100 Free @ 1:20 Girls/ 1:15 Boys
- 8 X 75 IM No Free @ 1:15 Girls / 1:10 Boys
